For a limited time only, you have the chance to purchase a real piece of Cal-Neva Lodge history.  In 2003, when Bill Carson, a tree carver from Truckee, CA, was commissioned to produce an Indian totem pole from a tree that had just died outside the entrance of Cal-Neva. Mr. Weiss took the initiative to conserve some slices of wood of from that historic tree.  The tree was featured in almost all prior picture postcards featuring the Lodge entrance, so it has a special significance in Lodge history.  This tree, while it was alive, witnessed countless historic figures come and go, including Judy Garland, Will Rogers, and Clark Gable to name a few.  It was also present when the Lodge was first built in 1926 and stood nearby when the Lodge burned to the ground in 1937.   This historic memento is accompanied by a separate Certificate of Authenticity signed by Mr. Weiss himself and is already featured in the ‘Cal-Neva Revealed’ Price Guide, currently valued between $15-$20.   You can purchase yours for just $10 while supplies last.  Shipping is $2 for one, or FREE for multiple quantities.  Don’t wait until these finally show up on e-Bay!
